I am also going to share this with my friends because it can be a good addition to them. Thank you for sharing this article.

  2. Interesting post.  The hardest part about most diets or nutrition plans is the meal prep.  This would definitely make it so much easier to prepare all the fresh ingredients I use for my diet.

After watching the video, it seems like a really user friendly gadget.  Plus it has all the extras that I am looking for.  Nice find!

  3. So now I can make keto juice without much stress.

This is why I love your site. Keto is a really nice and good for the health.

With the help of this product it would a long way in helping me prepare it for my family.

    1. Hey there,

Thank you for the compliment, I certainly am trying to build a great tool for all keto’ers.

I hope you enjoy your processor.

      Thank you

  4. Wow, this looks like a nice ‘lil device. Is it quick and easy to clean, as well as put together? Sometimes when things aren’t super easy I don’t feel like bothering and will end up manually chopping stuff lol. Unfortunately, your link doesn’t go to the sous chef peel and dice. thanks!

    1. Hey there,

I can understand your concern, in the video it shows how easy this accessory really is to use.

      Thank you.

  5. Wow. This is an impressive machine. I can’t say that I’m a Keto follower, but I do like tools for the kitchen that simplify food prep and save me time! I am also definitely a fan of protein shakes and homemade dressings, which is inevitably what I always end up using these type of kitchen gadgets for.

I like that this model has such a heavy duty motor, and stainless steel blades. That’s important if you plan to use it regularly. The large capacity bowl is nice for preparing large meals. Something that caught my eye is the “peeling disc.” I’ve actually never heard of such a thing. I don’t often peel my vegetables, but what a time saver this would be if I did! This would be a great present for my mom. Thanks for introducing it to us.

    1. Hey Cris,

Yes it is quite impressive!  This kitchen accessory would be good for any way of life not just the keto way, but is sure does help with meal prep. and saving time.  It would be perfect for sauces and dressings as well.

Its definitely a heavy duty accessory and I”m sure because of the stainless steel and blades it would prove to be long lasting.

I really hope your Mom enjoys her new accessory, can never have to many =)

      Thank you for your comment.

  6. Nice kitchen device. Its functions re awesome. I guess its more multifunctional compared to blenders. Cooking made easy. Could it also extract juice? I guess so. This product looks good and it do make you have a complete kitchen anytime. What’s the capacity? How long can it be on at a time?

    1. Hey Peter,

It is quite the product isn’t it =)  I don’t think its a juicer but that brand does sell juicers as well.  The capacity is 12 cups all together.  I believe it can be on as long as your recipe calls for and the motor is backed by a warranty.

      Thanks for your comment.

  7. Hi Amanda,

When i started my first keto diet to stop my seizures is when i started to learn that eating fat is good for losing weight and that it is sugar that makes u gain weight.

I was very upset. I asked myself: why have we been thought everything the wrong way ???

I started to stop eating everything that has sugar in it, even fruits. What happens was i lost weight superfast!! Again i was amazed, i discovered another lie. U don’t need to go to the gym to lose weight. I thought the only way to lose some weight is by working out. But that is not true.

It is soo funny how media can make us think things that are not true, lol

Your article’s can set the records straight. I wil share it with my friends.

    Much Love,

    Dahay

    1. Hey Dahay,

I’m glad you discovered this lifestyle to control your seizures.  I am sorry as I am to everyone who has been mislead and there are many that will fight this truth to the bitter end.  But results speak for them selves and I don’t just mean weight loss, I mean lowered blood pressure, controlled blood sugar levels, mental clarity…and so much more.

No you don’t need to go to the gym but of course it is a healthy habit to get into even if its at home.

Thank you for your comment, greatly appreciated.

  8. Hello Amanda,
This is a very informative post on the sous chef 16 kitchen accessory looks just like the kind of thing that my friends might need since sometimes we host weekend parties and we make alot of dip, and something we like that’s called chimol. ( I hope I spelled that right)

We put that chimol (its diced tomatoes, onion, cilantro, onion, and jalapeñooptional for those who have bold taste buds, but everything diced and drenched in lime juice, squuezed!)

This will definitely make our lives easier so that we can tend to our guests.

I wonder if the peeling disc is strong enough to peel Yucca, a type of vegetable, because in order to peel one- you have to use a knife!

I really like how well put and informative your post is, this super kitchen gadget is definitely worth the money!

  9. Hi Amanda,

I have always been interested in the keto diet, and have attempted it many times. I’ll admit I was lazy and eventually fell off course. One of the main reasons was because of the meal prep and consistency. The Sous Chef 16- peel and dice seems like it could be the answer to my keto prayers! There is nothing like a good food processor and this thing seems like a beast. Thank you so much for posting, you have inspired me!

    Madysen

    1. Hey Madysen,

It is advised when you first start to track your macro nutrients (carbs, proteien and fat) with any app. like the carb manager. One of my articles is for beginners ===>Click Here< === I'm a stay at home Mom so I really don't have to prep too much but I can see how it would be hard to get into the habit if you had to daily. Some people just take one or do days and do all meal prep, put in freezer that way its all done for you, just grab and go. I am going to add in my pinterest link as I have a lot of easy prep meals there ==>https://www.pinterest.ca/manderblaine/keto/<== Let me know how you make out.

  10. Hi there, great post!
One thing I have always wanted is a decent vegetable slicer. I’ve only ever had those rubbish cheap mandolin type things which are pretty useless, and dangerous. Grated finger anyone?

The ones you have reviewed seem much safer and easier to use. I will be treating myself to one soon as I would love to be able to prepare a meal quickly and efficiently, especially as I have such a busy life! Thanks

  11. Can this clean itself also? Just kidding dang this is perfect for just about anything you do in the kitchen, little pricey on my end but hey you get what you pay for right. Need to start saving for this bad boy and meal prep the right way, and show my g/f I know how to slice evenly (apparently that’s an issue with me). Thanks for the review and can’t wait to get one.

    1. LOL I wish they made self cleaning kitchen accessories, it is a bit pricey and I think you can find lower priced processors but again if its something you’re using a lot sometimes like you said “you get what you pay for”..

  12. Hey Amanda, this looks amazing! It does so much more than a regular blender. Meal prep is one of the must do’s when on a keto diet, as we’ve cut out processed foods for our health, so it makes sense to invest in a really useful machine to be able to save time while having to do more food prep. So many people complain to me about how I do a keto diet when you have to do so much cooking. I guess it’s about being prepared and planning which this will help one throw together evening meals with less fuss and possibly less clean up. I wonder how it would go if you added some dishwashing liquid once you’ve finished using this, turn on the blender then see how clean it gets. Might be another way to save time and cleaning lol!
