The keto life style

Product : –KitchenAid KHB2561OB 5-Speed Hand Blender – Onyx Black

An immersion hand blender is like having the Cadillac of Keto. With this way of life we make smoothies, shakes & the famous Bullet Proof Coffee, we whip up keto friendly desserts like mousse, keto ice cream, frostings and so much more.

Immersion hand blenders are compact and doesn’t take up cupboard space. Its easy to clean and the attachments are dishwasher safe. The attachments interchange easily and allow for many options such as chopping foods like nuts, herbs, cheese and cooked meat.  This hand blender quickly creates your perfect smoothie or shake to get you on  your way in the mornings.

It can be used for making our own sauces, vinaigrette s and used as a frother.

Most offer a splash free lid for less mess.

They come in many colors and many brands as well as corded and cordless with the capability of a recharging system like the Cuisine 300 listed below.   Myself I think its best to invest in quality rather than cost-efficient with an appliance you will get so much use of.

  4. I’m wondering how compact these blenders are for a travelling?

For instance, myself and my partner frequently travel to Bulgaria through Europe (from the UK) and we could really do with something like this for travel meals/hotels etc.

Is it a cord run device or a rechargable battery run device? Is it worth investing for travelling?

    1. As compact as they get for a blender, I think this would fit quite well in a travel bag.  You can get both corded and cordless.

  9. Hi Amanda.

This is my first of seeing or hearing anything about hand blenders. I am only exposed to the traditional one that the food is put inside.

So, I’m grateful for this awareness created by your article. I’m always keen to learn new things whenever I come across your articles.

I would like to order the chefman immersion hand blender, because it’s the cheapest. I’d like to state off with it before I make a more expensive purchased.

  10. Thanks for this writings on hand blender. I have like two electric blender at home and over time I get pissed off using it because my electric blender due to the fact that it over blend most of my smoothie and I don’t like that. I will try and look at some of the hand blender you recommend this article

  11. This immersion blender sounds like it will be a great addition to my kitchen. Aside that I kinda feel I will be able to make my smoothie faster. I wouldn’t mind to have whatever makes me great smoothies. This is something I would like to add to my kitchen equipment. Nice post

    1. Thank you so much, what I love about this blender compared to the traditional is that its so compact and easy to clean and put away.  The traditional blender takes more time to prepare put together and then clean up usually has to wait as life is faster paced than it used to be.

  12. Hi Amanda, this product seems to be so handy. For me it seems like a good option since I like to make my smoothies in small portions, just enough, gulp it down and I am through the door. I don’t have to be storing the excess. I will be checking this out…make my life easier. Thanks for the introduction

  13. I have been using a regular upright Blender so far and it is pretty easy to use, although now I’m kinda fancying to go for a hand blender simply because it is easier to clean up afterward (yes, I am somewhat lazy when it comes to cleaning ^^). Thanks for this great Review, i’ll keep it in mind when I make a buying decision!

  15. Oh this will be a good tool for my sister. She is obsessed with keto diet currenly, so buying a blender set like this will certainly help her. She can try various smoothies and juice recipes. What is the best place to buy this blender? I should tell her as soon as possible. Thanks for the information.

  16. The hand blender is something which I use daily, and I think it should be present in any kitchen. I admit that I have a different model than the KitchenAid. I recently purchased a new one as my old one got retired after so many years of usage.

I use it mostly for smoothies, and I like that it takes so little space in my kitchen cupboard.

  17. Thank you for this post. I really like making my smoothies at home and I think this blender seems to be an appropriate one to use. The number of things you can do with it varies and I really like how it comes with a whisk, this will be useful when attempting to make something other than a smoothie or milkshake.

  18. I have an immersion blender, and it’s really useful for certain things. But I’m looking to upgrade and this Kitchen Aid 5-speed blender looks to be right up my alley!

The one I have is only 2 speed – hi and low – so there’s not too much that can be done with it. I’ve heard people say that immersion blenders are the BEST and they make everything really smooth. Mine doesn’t, so I didn’t understand why everyone wan ranting and raving.

Turns out, I just need a better one!

  19. The Kitchenaid khb25610b5 hand blender looks really good. The one I currently own is singing it´s last song and it will soon be time for me to get a new one. I like the look of this hand blender and I like the fact that it is a very compact hand blender that does not take up a lot of space. This is particularly something I am looking for as I have a limited amount of storage space in my kitchen. Thank you for a very informative article on why everybody needs a hand blender.

    1. You’re most welcome and yes this is an essential part of every kitchen and now its compact and versatile.

  20. Good afternoon Amanda,

You are right, a nice hand blender is a must in any kitchen. I do have a good but old Sunbeam but that one I use mainly for cakes or bread and you have to put together.  The handheld one you can quickly use for smoothy and similar things. It is practical as it does not need any assembling like with the other one. I am looking forward to when I have ripe figs, August and September, as they make the best smoothy ever.

    Regards, Taetske

  21. Hi Amanda, thanks for this, I use my (now very old and tired) hand blender for soups in winter and simply have got out of the habit of using for smoothies during warmer months. So thanks for the reminder. I definitely need to upgrade so will be taking a look at what you have recommended here.

Plus I’ve just noticed your menu item ‘Poison by Sugar’ love it and I absolutely agree. Thanks for sharing I look forward to returning for more Keto info!

    1. You’re most welcome Fleur,
